I would recommend moving to either Vortex or Mod Organizer 2. Gopher has beginners guide series for Vortex. GamerPoets has beginners guide series for MO2. You never really need to re-download mods, if you swap between managers. They are stored under Download folder of the manager. Mod authors sometimes change names and versions of files on go, so it is easy to get confused with names in Download folders. I always download nexus mods vortex wont download manually and then install them with the manager from hard drive.
It makes it far easier to keep a track of mods, when they are under named download folders in storage nexus mods vortex wont download and folders have version numbers in them.
Just a suggestion, for those considering of fiddling around with several managers. What comes to CC mods: keep in mind that you can't actually move those ESL-files in your load order nexus mods vortex wont download.
