Would that mess things up, swapping the folders? Of course this is all hypothetical though, as I have not encountered someone who's uploaded their entire CC folder! Hope this helps! You will need Winrar or 7zip in order to extract these files and make them viewable in-game. Most of the video makers will update the links on the video or create a whole new one so you don't have to worry about updating your cc.

Check Packages Folder: Your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder should have two files inside it: blogger.come, and blogger.come Note: The picture shows them with a little green plumbbob icon, and "Sims3 Package" under Type. It's okay if your icon looks like a Sims 2 package icon, a monkey, a white sheet of paper, or anything else, and the type may say. From your start menu, it's File Explorer>Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3>Mods. I just did the Windows 10 thing, too. It's a little bewildering til you figure out where all your familiar stuff is now. Just unzip to your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 folder. Everything should be in place (the Mods folder with the blogger.com file and 2 subfolders, Packages and Overrides). The download includes 2 test mods (nointromovies and nobuildmodesparkles) to test your installation of the framework.
